It shouldn't be too long before he starts throwing down some new tricks. If that happens at the next Metro Jam we'll have to see. Riding at 70% for Ryan is riding at 110% for others.
How many Metro Jams have you visited prior to the Singapore one?
Ryan Nyquist: I've gone to just two Metro Jams before. Always a great contest though.
What are you expecting of the trip?
Ryan Nyquist: A lot of fun and great riding. I'm traveling with a lot of my close friends the whole trip, as well a lot of friends that I don't get to see very often. I don't think it's gonna be hard to enjoy myself.
Being in a different part of the world together with fellow riders does that automatically mean good times?
Ryan Nyquist: Pretty much. Singapore looks like a amazing place. And from what Jay [Miron] has told me about the event, I think you would really have to try hard to NOT have fun.
What do you think of the drawings of the street course?
Ryan Nyquist: The course looks ridiculous! Metro always has some pretty unique obstacles on it as well as incorporating some of the more traditional ones as well. I expect to see some serious blasting!
Did you work on some new tricks over the winter that you want to do at the Metro Jam?
Ryan Nyquist: To be honest I've been trying to balance rehabbing my knee with riding and progressing. So you might not see too much new stuff out of me but I feel great on my bike and hopefully that will carry over well.
Your pick for the win?
Ryan Nyquist: Josh Harrington is always a shoe in. He dominates all!
