Do you think it’s important to know what is going on in BMX land?
Bruno Hoffmann: I think there is so much weird stuff right know, like about bike trends or stuff like that. It's interesting to see new things that happen but you shouldn’t take it too seriously.
Who is your favorite rider?
Bruno Hoffmann: I can't name just one person, but I really like to watch Chase Hawk and Garrett Reynolds. It's also awesome to see uncovered riders, who are also doing great stuff.
You went to Woodward a little while ago, how was that? Bruno Hoffmann: I think it was like perfect for the first experience. We firstly went to Woodward, then to Greenville, but I could also see some nice tourist stuff like Long Island, or Washington. I was so excited to ride the well known parks, but also check out the American way of life.
Which pro riders are you down with?
Bruno Hoffmann: Haha, that’s funny because in the USA we rode with “pros” like on a daily basis, so now I am down with Spinner, Colin Mackay and Ryan Nyquist of course. I also really like the British guys like Hennon, Miller, Watkinson and Mark Webb. It's awesome.
What do you like better, tricks or style?
Bruno Hoffmann: I’m really bored about all the boxjump stuff (probably because I can't do them, haha), so I would say that I prefer tricks with style. Or just style.
What trick do you want to learn?
Bruno Hoffmann: I am really psyched about whips which I just learned. I don’t want to ride to learn new stuff, I just ride for fun. New tricks often come from itself, you know.
What do you ride most?
Bruno Hoffmann: I mostly ride park (it's because we have a great park in my hometown), but I also like to ride street, it's always funny to go riding street in Cologne with a bunch of friends.
Who do you ride for?
Bruno Hoffmann: I would say that I ride for myself but I get great help from wethepeople, people's store (bmx shop in Cologne), Eastpak and Vans shoes.
What do your friends think about that fact that you are sponsored and travel around a bit with your BMX bike?
Bruno: I don’t think they're jealous. Till now I didn’t travel so much, everything is awesome but I can’t take myself on the same travel and riding level with like Tobias Wicke. It's great to have (riding) buddys in your hometown who stand behind you.
Where do you want to travel to?
Bruno Hoffmann: Everywhere, haha I just let it come how it comes.
Do you make videos or take photos?
Bruno Hoffmann: Yeah I pretty much like to shoot photos with my friend Martin Ohliger (XMX) from Cologe, he's awesome. It's also really cool to film clips with Markus Wilke.
Are you on Myspace?
Bruno Hoffmann: Yeah I just installed it for fun but after a while I'm taking it too seriously, I guess.
How many friends do you have?
Bruno Hoffmann: I don’t know, pretty much enough. It's also important to have friends on a different basis, like bmx and school and stuff like that.
Are you into computer games?
Bruno Hoffmann: No, I can't imagine to play World of Warcraft all day long.
What music do you listen to?
Bruno Hoffmann: Pretty much everything. I like to listen to different music genres.
Short answers on the following:
-Dave Mirra: I met him the first time on Fise, he seems to be a really cool dude.
-Rebel Jam: awesome jam. The riders are in the frontground, which is pretty important I think
-Wethepeople: the guys are the best ever, I don’t have any pressure, just riding. They have really fucking good stuff.
-X-pack: haha, it’s a cheap Eastpak imitation. Hello Arthur.
-’33 Export: Montpellier, hotel, no parents here.
-Girls: Yeah, pretty cool. Nice girls also here.
-BMX magazines: important, I'm so excited about every new freedom issue.
-Internet: Yeah cool, too. There are just too many weird sites.
-Bike weight: Not important. I'm always bummed when I see Chase Hawk look-a-like bikes from kids who can't even do a bunnyhop.
-Table tops: Best trick ever, can't do them really good.
-Mopeds: not interested in them. I’m in beef with a few guys from my town who ride these bicycles.
Thanks to: My parents for all their support, also the same with my sponsors. The best ever! Also thanks to all of my friends, who also stands behind me. Thanks to all, you know who you are.
