Courage Adams, 17, currently lives in Pamplona (Spain). When he makes it over to Tallinn for the Simple Session he'll be freezing his ass off. But luckily the temperature inside the Saku Suurhal is nice. It's the first time for the Flybikes rider to enter the SS comp. Courage is also sponsored by Cromolybmx (distributor shop), POCsports, and MarieJadecrew. Get ready for the nose wheely.
When did you first hear about the Simple Session? Courage Adams: I heard about the Simple Session in 2011, when I watched it online on my computer.
Did you have to look on a map to find out where Estonia actually was? Courage Adams: No, because I know Europe well.
Now you’re on the riders list, how does that make you feel? Courage Adams: I'm really motivated to know that I will have the opportunity to compete with the best riders in the world.
What was your first impression when you saw the drawings of the 2014 course? Courage Adams: Really awesome.
When do you first get to ride the set up? Any obstacle in particular that you want to hit up first thing? Courage Adams: February 20. The street modules is where you can find me.
Making finals will be tough in a strong field like this. How do you see your chances? Courage: I don't really know what's going to happen, but the most important thing for me is to have fun.
With the live webcast thousands of people will be watching you ride, plus about 2000 pretty girls will be there in person. Are you getting nervous yet? Courage Adams: Yeah, of course I'm nervous hahaha...
Who is your pick for first place this year? Courage Adams: I think it's difficult to choose because Garrett Reynolds and Drew Bezanson are going to be there and the two are very big riders.
Do you have any people you want to thank for making it to Simple Session 2014? Adams: Yeah, I want to thank all my sponsors and especially Cromoly bmx and Flybikes for making this possible.
