Dave Dillewaard on his favorite Dirt Contest: Elevation in Whistler

Dave Dillewaard did some very sweet inverts over the hip in Whistler last year. So good in fact that I had a photo enlarged and put it up on the wall in front of me. I look at it all the time, so fucking awesome I could cry. Dillsy will be back this weekend. Let's see what the Aussie has to say about the comp and about the X-Games dropping dirt this summer.

1) What does the Elevation comp mean to you?
It's the best dirt contest I have ever been to. That's it, that's all.

2) Do you fancy riding real trails going down a hill?

I fancy all trails.. the Elevation course is so dialed, and the guys work really hard so we can have a good time.

3) Have you seen photos of the 2007 dirt jumps yet?
I got a look of some of them and I think they will be realy good. They get better every year so this year they will be awesome.

4) How bad do you think it is that Dirt is no longer a discipline in the X-Games?
Bad, just dumb I think. Dirt has been a big part of our sport for a long time and now they replace it with big air and supercross. Pretty shitty I think.

5) Do you have any tricks you want show on the last big set?
I will have to wait and see how big this jump is in real life to tell u what I wanna do on it.

6) I would be stoked on (choose one):
a) A top 3 score
b) Making finals
c) Don't care about the placing, I just want to ride Elevation with my buddies
