Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Logan Martin: The first event of 2017 was a dirt event in California which I ended up in 6th place.

How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?

Logan Martin: To my calculations I was away from home for 14 weeks!

What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Logan Martin: I had a really good time at X-games! Both the dirt and the park courses were super fun and we pretty much had the whole week leading up to the weekend to ride them both!

What contest placing were you stoked on this year?
Logan Martin: I was stoked on all of them except Budapest of course, haha. No, but in all seriousness I was really pumped to win in Montpellier again this year, I love going back there each year and to win on the mini ramp as well as the park was awesome, I believe only a couple people have done that.

What trick/move were you happy to pull for the first time this year?
Logan Martin: I quad whipped a spine earlier this year, so that was pretty cool!

What BMX move stands out the most to you that somebody did this year?
Logan Martin: I enjoyed watching Kostya do the bar spin to cannonball to handjob whip in Montpellier, that blew my mind!!

Who had the best looking bike in 2017?
Logan Martin: Jeremy Malott and Brandon Loupos;) #jetfuelindy

What was your worst injury in 2017?
Logan Martin: I got a few concussions this year unfortunately, but the worst one was at Nitro Games. I completely knocked myself out and went to hospital to get a head scan ect, so that wasn’t fun at all!

Worst thing that happened while you’re on the road?
Logan Martin: This isn’t necessarily the worst thing but It wasn’t ideal. Me and Coleborn were flying back to England and I was staying with him for a few days, everything through check in was fine and we both went to board the plane but he was put on standby, turns out he couldn’t get on the same flight and there were no flights going back to the same airport for 2 days, so he had booked a flight to a different airport that night, get his mate to pick him up, take him to the airport where HIS car and I were, and then drive back to his house. So I was sitting at the airport for 4-5 hours waiting for him to get me!

How many flat tires did you have the past 12 months?
Logan Martin: I’m going to say between 5-10

Best party you visited in 2017?
Logan Martin: Well considering I don’t party I didn’t go to any throughout the contest year but I did just go on a cruise and there were a couple parties I attended!

Raddest person you got to hang out with this year?
Logan Martin: I wanted to get away from home for a bit towards the end of last year so I went stayed and with Jack Fahey in the states over New Years and for all of January so that was a really good time hanging out with him!

Best thing you saw in 2017?
Logan Martin: Best thing I saw in 2017 was the UCI gold medal/jersey and 2 more Silver X-games medals up on my wall!

Plans for 2018?
Logan Martin: I will be attending as many events as I can again and doing the best I can do at each event. I enjoy travelling and competing so while I’m still healthy enough to live this lifestyle that’s what I want to do.
