Do you use your flatland skills to take tricks to the street?
Mike Spinner: Yessss for sure!
Does riding flatland help with your overal bike control skills?
Mike Spinner: 100 percent, I feel it just gives me more bike control, from just doing nosepick whips to backwards manuals to just bunnyhop 360s
Have you entered any more pro flatland contests since the one in France?
Mike Spinner: Nah that was my first Flatland comp, I have some new flat land tricks but I am yet to enter a comp again LOL.
How often do you watch flatland riding?
Mike Spinner: If I'm at a contest and there's flatland I will chill a little bit and watch it for a bit.
Would you like to see it be part of the Dew Tour or the X-Games again?
Mike Spinner: Nah not really, I don't feel like people respect flatland enough to where they would just throw it in the contest. Everybody has to realize how talented you have to be to be a real professional Flatland rider. I just mess around here and there, but the true professionals are amazing and put tons of time into it. And all the events they are doing now for Flatland are super cool. Dew tour and X-games are for going High up in the Air and doing tricks. It's totally different styles I think for sure.
What are your three favorite flatland tricks to do?
Mike Spinner:
1) Nosepick whips
2) Bunnyhop whips
3) Backwards manuals
