Cooper Wilson: Total Voltron V2 18 for park and Mirraco Project 18 for dirt
In a few weeks time the Lil Pros BMX tour comes to Australia. Are you looking forward to it?
Cooper Wilson: I can't wait, I love going to different parks, meeting new people and learning new tricks, I don't get to ride with many kids my own age so I'm looking forward to meeting some other kids that maybe I can ride with and form some new friendships
Have you ridden the parks that are on the program for Australia?
Cooper Wilson: I have ridden all the parks in the program, I'm so lucky that mum and dad support my sport and take me everywhere.
Which park do you ride most?
Cooper Wilson: I ride GC compound and Beenleigh the most.
Which park is your favorite?
Cooper Wilson: I have so many favorite parks but if I would have to choose I guess My favorite Indoor Park would have to be GC Compound and out door park Beenleigh, Capalaba Bowl and Sumner park dirt jumps
What's in the water in Australia that makes riders so good?
Cooper Wilson: Australians are obsessed with their sport, the good weather helps to get you out of the house and keep you fit
Which riders are you hoping will show up for the session?
Cooper Wilson: I love watching Chris James getting big air, Dale O'Brian and of course my coach and mentor Nathan Lanky Philps
Do you think it's a good idea to do something for the kids who ride BMX?
Cooper Wilson: I think it is a fantastic idea to showcase Freestyle BMX for the younger riders, I feel freestyle BMX is an under appreciated discipline and needs more recognition as a clean fun sport where you can enjoy the spirit of friendships you develop with young and older riders. I have developed not just as a rider but also as a person being around older riders and learning respect for others and skate park etiquette
Who's your favourite BMX freestyle rider?
Cooper Wilson: Drew Bezanson
What are some of the tricks you can do that you're the most proud of?
Cooper Wilson: I love to 360 Tyre grab, no foot can and big air dirt jumps with lots of steez in that whip.
Thanks to: Dustin Grice for inviting me to be a part of the Lil Pros and FAT BMX for the inverview.
