number plate with velcro straps. Also the side number plates fit okay with the velcro straps. When I take those off, I have my every day bike again. I don't like to ride around with the number plate on my bike when I'm at the trails or the skatepark.
I got this bike in September and by now I can give you a good test report. I have to say that I really like the bike. I can do everything with it. All I changed in the 9 months I've had it are the seat and tires. I changed the seat because the race one is made of hard plastic. It's super light, but it's not comfortable. I use the bike more than doing laps around the track so a comfortable Premium seat is a nice replacement. I also changed the front tire and put the old front tire in the rear. I'm running a fat Tioga 2.10 tire in the front. It's nicer when riding ramps. I tried to put a fat tire on the back but it did not work. That's why I used the slightly thicker Kenda tire that was on the front of the bike originally to go on the rear. Also I changed the grips simply because I wore the old ones out. There was no more grip on them. I'm using the Vans grips now in blue which I like a lot.
I'm 11 years old and have not broken anything on the bike. Because the frame and bars are made of aluminium, the bike is not really made for freestyle. I don't use pegs and don't grind at all so I have not suffered any problems with it. It's strong and light and that's a good combination.
The changes I made to the bike makes it a great overall bicycle for anyone between 9-12 years old. More info can be found on the www.harobikes.com website. Look for the Race Lite Expert XL in the Race section.
