This weekend, Reims was the place to be! Land of the 2024 Games, the city hosted the second stage of the FISE Xperience Series 2023 season at the Freestyle Park set up on the Porte de Mars esplanade. In front of an over-motivated public over three days, top-level riders and talents from the local BMX, Roller and Scooter Freestyle scene came out in force to set the ramps on fire and perform a series of tricks and transfers to thrill the local population. On June 10, 11 and 12, BMX, Roller and Scooter competitions will follow on a Park specially built on the Porte de Mars esplanade in Reims. Right in the city center, top European riders will be meeting again crowds only two weeks after FISE Montpellier. If the title of winner of the FISE Xperience Reims 2022 is at stake for the three sports represented, the BMX Freestyle Park is also certified Coupe de France FFC and C1 by the UCI, allowing to get point counting for the world ranking.
This opportunity attracts an exceptional line-up of female BMX Freestyle Park athletes, the first of all the FISE Xperience Series tours to be so international. Among them, the French Team member Laury Perez will share the Park with the E-FISE 2020 BMX Street winner Anhi Molina (Ecuador) and the
FISE XPERIENCE SERIES 2019: Anthony Jeanjean won the UCI C1 event in Reims this weekend and the first French Champion title. Last stop of the FISE Xperience Series 2019, Reims was welcoming the first-ever BMX Freestyle Park French Championships FFC, as well as the last opportunity in French to grab points toward Tokyo 2020. Winning the FISE Xperience Series overall ranking 2019 offers an invitation to the FISE World Series 2020 (transport, accommodation, contest registration). We promised an "all included jam-packed way" to wrap the year, so it was also the last stop of the FFC French Cup. Oh, well, moreover we were hosting a Dirt Contest. FISE XPERIENCE SERIES 2019. BMX Freestyle Park, Dirt and Flatland gathered for the last stop of the French tour. The Reims Freestyle Park 3D views just came out, take a look at the spot which will host the UCI C1 event at the end of the month. The event will also host the FFC BMX Freestyle Park Championship on Friday 27th, before a weekend dedicated to the FFC BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland French Cup, as well as a BMX Dirt contest. FISE XPERIENCE SERIES 2019: The last stop of the French FISE tour will provide an Olympic opportunity. It's time to wrap the 2019 FISE French tour, and the final rendez-vous will be in Reims from the 27th to the 29th of September. Last but not least, the event will be labelled C1 by UCI, as well as being part of the FFC French Cup.
The event provides another occasion for BMX Freestyle Park riders to grab some points on the way to Tokyo 2020. The end of the qualification process is coming quickly, and it will be the last occasion in France to get points, so we can be sure to see some top international athletes competing.
