Bike Expo is Europe's newest bicycle tradeshow and will take place in Munich/Germany, July 23rd -26th . The show will take place at the Messegelaende Riem, same place as the famous ISPO convention. Of course we'll have our booth on site, displaying new products (Fit, Primo, Lotek, Kink, Alienation, Two Hip, Tree, Failure, T-1, Micreation, UGP and many more) and giving out free drinks the whole day long. So come and see us at Bike Expo 2009 and don't forget about the "Big in Bavaria" dirt comp that'll go down at the show on Friday and Saturday. Our booth is in the outdoor area, right next to the Dirtjumps.

ALLRIDE BMX Distribution
Four Olympic medallist have today confirmed they will compete at next week’s BMX World Championships in Adelaide. Headlining the field is current world champion and Olympic gold medallist, Maris Strombergs from Latvia. Olympic silver medallist, Mike Day (USA) and bronze medallist, Donny Robinson (USA) also today confirmed and a part of a strong American contingent. According to UCI BMX Sports Co-ordinator, Johan Lindstrom, “Maris Strombergs is the man to beat! He has shown great consistency throughout the season and wants to keep that jersey for another year.” In the record books only a few riders have back-to-back wins at the World Championships, explained Lindstrom. However the USA, French and Dutch teams have strong riders that will put up a challenge for Maris.
The women’s podium is wide open with the recent withdrawal of two- time World Champion, Shanaze Reade (UK).
Now don't get me wrong, this isn't an article on how 'underground' BMX should be or is, I'm just pointing out that we mess ourselves up constantly and the only people we have to turn to is the nearest adult professing a St. John's ambulance qualification or failing that a half empty pack of Asda brand peas that you virtually needed an icepick to pry out of the back of the freezer. Because we don't get the type of backing that the Wimbledon players get, that doesn't necessarily mean we should go through more injuries and pain than we have to. We just need to be clever and make sure we know how to keep our bodies in tip top riding nick, apart from the obligatory quest to land smoother. Yeah padding and supportive shoes have come on leaps and bounds but it is only recently us BMXer have been given riding specific shoes and didn't need to buy skate shoes, they do however cost an arm and a leg though.. and the protective pads 
The bigger events draw tons of "photographers" that demand a press pass and want to get close to the action. But how often do these pics show up inthe media? Maybe not all that often but these NASS pics from Adam Frame made it outside his home computer.
