The 2nd stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour was last Friday in Denver, CO. Scotty Cranmer rode great in practice and great for 58 seconds of his 60 second qualifier run (ended up qualifying 2nd). He smacked his head pretty hard on his last trick of the qualifier, 60 seconds at Denver elevation can make you a little tired. He got checked out by the medics and was cleared to ride the final a few hours later that night. In his 2nd run of the finals he went for the flip double whip and came really close to pulling it, really close. He really wanted to pull it and went for it again, this time hitting his head again, knocking out a tooth and earning himself a ride to the hospital. Scotty rode in the ambulance and beat us there, when they were checking him in he was acting so goofy they thought he was drunk and gave him a breathalyzer test... Outcome was a broken tooth, scrapped up face and a concussion.

Everyone is invited to do some riding on the Sugar Hills trails at the Valkendijk on Saturday and feel free to bring the drinks and the barbeque. The chilling factor will be high once again in Aarle-Rixtel so prepare for that. Starts at 14:00hr.
Saturday night will be the Heavy Metal party at OJA. Dress to impress. Black t-shirt, tight jeans, white socks and sneakers. Wigs and make-up are allowed. Get ready for the Metal classics. Florian Schüle is going to organize a Flatland contest in Baiersbronn (Freudenstadt) on the 16 & 17 of July. Read on what Flo has to say:
These are the second "Black Forest Masters" that I am organizing. The first time in October 2001 the riders came from Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich, Bitterfeld, Wien and so on to join the contest.
The contest is going to take place in a skating hall and will last for two days. On Saturday we are going to organize a party on a barbecue-site after the contest. Everybody who wants, can camp next to the barbecue-site.
The contest will start at 10 AM on Saturday. The riders can choose between three different classes and they will have time to practice. At 3 PM the qualifying for the finals will be started. On Sunday the finals will be held.
Everyone over at FATBMX would like to congratulate Nico and Lisenka Does on the birth of their son Lucas Does. Lucas saw daylight for the first time on 29 June and weighed in at 3180 grams. Not only mom and dad are proud but also grandparents Gerrit and Mieke Does-Karsmakers.
Let the sleepless nights begin!

FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS FINALS and BMX PARK FINALS
The Rebel Jam in Berlin started off with a tourist tour through the city. Two double decker buses were hired to show the riders, sponsors and media what the city was all about. This is a great idea as we only get to see the venue, the hotel, the airport and a bar or two at 90% of the contests.
It was raining cats and dogs when the buses showed up. When everyone rushed in the bus to grab a seat, the windows fogged up. With a closed roof (that was leaking left and right), heavy rain outside and steamed up windows the conditions weren't great for the tourist trip. And then 4 cases of beer turned up in every bus. This made it
