ESPN and Disney to Present X Games 3D the Movie. First Sports-Based Feature Film in Digital 3D Highlights Action Sports Icons

ESPN and Disney will release the first sports-themed 3D film this summer with a special, limited one-week theatrical run starting August 21. ESPN Films will produce and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will distribute X Games 3D the Movie nationwide into digital 3D theaters around the country. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Steve Lawrence (Down the Barrel), the film will use groundbreaking digital 3D techniques to immerse sports fans into the world of action sports and its top stars.

Sole Technology, parent company of etnies, éS, Emerica, ThirtyTwo and Altamont has focused its efforts on energy usage in its overall environmental commitment and 2020 carbon neutral goal. The company reports in 2008 an annual cost savings of $100,000 through a combination of its 616 solar panel installation that saved $30,000, rebate programs through Southern California Edison that allowed $40,000 of savings and further reduction measures which resulted in an additional $30,000 and 400,000 kilowatt-hours (KWH) saved, equivalent to 22 homes and 165 trees. "In these times of economic uncertainty and cost reductions, I am very proud that my team has been resourceful in finding solutions that are not only beneficial to the environment, but also help our bottom line," said Pierre Andre Senizergues, CEO and founder of Sole Technology.
