GoPro have released three new products that could work for anyone who uses the camera to film their own videos or webisodes. It'll give you different angles to get that unique shot that the competition doesn't have. It's always nice to mix it up. Here are the new innovations from the people at GoPro.
ESPN2 will televise live World of X Games: KRob Flips Providence, the Guinness World Record attempt for the longest ramp-to-ramp, no-handed backflip on a BMX bike on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 11:30 p.m. ET. The backflip – from Kennedy Plaza in Providence, R.I. – will also be part of the World of X Games series on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. ET/ 3 p.m. PT on ABC.

The Inaugural Battle of Hastings BMX contest will take place at The Source Park on the weekend of September 10-11th 2016. The World's top riders will compete in an innovative format for a share of the 18,000 Euro Pro purse. The original Battle of Hastings took place in 1066 and this year with the 950 year festivities, we're putting Hastings back on the international contest scene with our version of the Battle of Hastings to celebrate the first big BMX contest at the Source Park.
There will also be an open qualifier event for all riders including AM’s at the Source Park on July 23rd, in support of BMX Day 2016.
Tune into World of X Games this Saturday, June 25 for the Best of Austin show at 3 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on ABC. On Friday 1st of July several BMX flatland world champions, like Mathias Dandois, Yohei Uchino and Dominik Nekolny (together 7 times world championships titles) are competing in this world class contest. NASS has revealed a list of the world’s top BMX riders from around the globe to compete at the IBMXFF World Championships when they return to the UK for the first time in 28 years next month (July). The competitions will feature more than 400 athletes competing for prize money in the BMX disciplines of Park, Dirt, Vert and new for 2016, Flatland. Legend of the sport Mat Hoffman will be joined by already announced X Games silver medalist Logan Martin and X Games gold medalist Daniel Sandoval. Flying the flag for Great Britain on home soil will be seven-times NASS pro park champion Mark Webb, Daniel Dhers, who brings five X Game gold medals to the table, Alex Coleborn, Simon Tabron, Coco Zurita and Brandon Loupos.

FISE World Series second stop will take place in Croatia from July15th to 23rd in the City of Osijek. After the first stop of the tour in Montpellier and its huge crowd, the FISE World Series is ready for the second stop in Croatia and will be featuring the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup 2016. The location of the event is called Copacabana, just next to the river Drava and the beautifull fortified city of Osijek. If you get confused about the pronunciation, try replacing ‘ij’ with ‘y’, and say Osyek.

For the first time in its history, BMX Freestyle Park becomes a recognized bicycle discipline, as it is now certified by the UCI. This novelty in the cyclist world is the result of a great collaboration between Union Cyclist International (UCI) and FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes) through the launch of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup. The first stop ever was during FISE World Montpellier in May and the top 3 are Alex Coleborn (UK), Daniel Dhers (Ven) and Mike Varga (Can).
