The National BMX Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that the nomination process for this years' BMX HALL OF FAME is now open. Any person can nominate anybody for HoF consideration - but we ask that you keep in mind that the person meets the Hall of Fame criteria of selecting Inductees who have made a serious impact on the sport of Bicycle Motocross; whether it be through performance and accomplishments, or off-the-track deeds and influence for the betterment of the sport.

"and we thank you for your participation!" DATE SET FOR INDUCTION CEREMONY For 2013, the Induction Ceremony for the BMX Hall of Fame moves back to it's regular time - in September. The ceremony will again take place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista - on the evening of Saturday, September 28th.
This years' Ceremony is tied in nicely to the first-ever USA BMX HALL of FAME Nationals, at Chula Vista (held on the Chula Vista Am track) and the final round of the UCi Supercross World Cup race - which will take place Saturday afternoon on the London Olympic-replica track.
Tickets are slated to go on sale on June 14th - along with the public announcement of Inductees in the five categories.
THE HALL OF FAME PROCESS HOW DOES IT WORK? Jan 1 to Jan 31st: Nominations are accepted from the public.
Mid-Feb: After weeks of scouring the public nominations, the Selection Committee will make their nominee choices. Three new inductees are added to each category.
The 2nd and 3rd place finishers from last year's vote (listed above) receive an automatic placement on this year's ballot.
Mid-April to May 30th: Hall of Fame voting begins for the five nominees in the five categories: PIONEER, RACER, WOMEN, FREESTYLE and INDUSTRY. Nearly 500 validated voters - made up of Hall of Famers, BMX industry experts and BMX Legends & Historians will vote to determine who is inducted.
June 14th: The Hall of Fame's "Class of 2013" is announced to the public and tickets go on sale.
Saturday night - September 28th: The 2013 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Tickets go on sale June 14th.

Established by the ABA in 1985, the BMX Hall of Fame's mission is to recognize, honor and salute the pioneers, makers and shakers in the sport of Bicycle Motocross.
Each year, USA BMX (The American Bicycle Association) inducts 5 new members to the BMX Hall of Fame. They are: two legendary racers, one legendary freestyle rider, one influential Industry person, and one influential BMX woman. Special Recognition inductees may also be included.
