February 2024 and the first UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup is happening this upcoming weekend in Enoshima, Japan. It will be a long trek to the land of the rising sun for the first round of 2024 with two other stops on the calendar for this year being Montpellier, France in May and Shanghai, China in October. With this being an Olympic year there are two more key events on the schedule before the Games take place in Paris this summer. The Olympic Qualifier Series will determine 6 of the 12 riders in each gender who will get a ticket to the Place de La Concorde in July. Add the UCI World Championships to the list (Abu Dhabi - December) and it's going to be a full season being a high level Park rider.

Full Podium Sweep for Team Monster Energy at BMX Triple Challenge at stop 2 in Glendale, AZ
Stop Two is officially in the books! Monster Energy congratulates Monster Army rider Brady Baker on winning the BMX Dirt competition at the 2024 Monster Energy BMX Triple Challenge in Glendale, Arizona. In the second stop of the 2024 season, the 21-year-old from Toms River, New Jersey, rose all the way to the top on the dirt course outside State Farm Stadium. Monster Energy swept the entire podium with 29-year-old Daniel Sandoval from Corona, California, taking second place and 29-year-old Ryan Williams from Sunshine Coast, Australia, in third. When the action moved into the spectacular Best Trick, Sandoval also claimed the top spot as the exclamation point to an epic weekend.

Opening the season with a full podium sweep! Monster Energy congratulates team rider Mike Varga on winning the BMX Dirt competition at the 2024 Monster Energy BMX Triple Challenge in Anaheim, California, on Saturday. In the first stop of the season, the 27-year-old from Oshawa, Canada, rose to the top of the field on the dirt jumps outside the Angel Stadium. He was joined on the podium by Monster Army rider Brady Baker in second place and newly signed Monster Energy team rider Ryan Williams in third place.
In the progressive Best Trick contest, 29-year-old Ryan Williams from Sunshine Coast, Australia, took the top spot.
