The city of Montpellier is the birthplace of the FISE World, where the first edition and first success happened 19 years ago! This event has become a key event in the action sports world, being the biggest gathering of extreme sports in the world. On this stop of the Fise World Series (FISE), about 2000 riders from 53 countries and 250 journalists regroup around their passions. Amateur competition are present alongside the high level pro events and mark the rhythm of these 5 insane days, where 500 000 spectators come watch the show in the streets of 

After 30 years of BMX in the “Kölner Jugendpark” our motivation to organize this event has not changed. We always were driven by the passion for our sport BMX. To provide a platform where BMX is recognized as a sport and culture rather than a circus or stunt-show has always been in our focus. To show the variety that BMX has to offer has always been a main part of our concept. BMX at the Jugendpark has become a ritual to us and to thousands of BMX lovers from all over the world.

In 2015 the BMX CGN will take a break. It’s time for a concept overhaul and to give the venue the opportunity to improve its infrastructure to secure the future of BMX at this very special location. Since 2011 we have been facing higher standards and restrictions set by the City of Cologne year by year. Now it has reached a level that makes it impossible for us to proceed the way we did it in the past. We were working on solutions, but for this year’s event we are running out of time.

Nick Ziegler's homies over at FIT & S&M and The Building distro sent over some parts for the Midwest bmx donation program to build some more bikes for kids. Here is the latest creation from help from many people and Nick himself. He decided to build a bike and do a nation wide search to find this bike a perfect home with a girl rider. After talking with Chris Moeller, he sent me over to Angie Marino. Me, Chris and Angie will do some kind of contest to see who needs a new bike the most and give this bike away.

Riders are arriving, the contest course is already looking rad and we have now revealed the full line-up for what is to be the best Simple Session 15 event to date! In just 2 days the doors of Tondiraba hall will open to greet 100 BMX riders and 75 skaters from 35 countries to the brand new and awesome Nate Wessel designed contest course for 2 intense training days, to heat the brand new hall up for some insane action on Saturday and Sunday!

With the announcement of Tony Hawk and all new Vert ramp, NASS is proud to announce the introduction of BMX Vert and Skate competitions. Some of the biggest names in BMX join an all-star cast to battle it over a weekend of the best in class for BMX Vert. UK BMX Vert Series 2014 Pro Champion Mike Mullen will be joined by a slew of incredible riding talent, including 2013 winner Paul Meacher, Fabien Giess and Declan Brooks with many more riders still to be announced.

This sees a welcome return for the Vert ramp to NASS and Mike Mullen and Co have the pleasure of being the first to drop in on a brand new build ramp for the occasion. Each rider will be looking to claim their slice of the £2,000 prize pot and to ride away with the claim of being the NASS Pro Vert BMX Champion.

Zach Shaw from the BMX Vert Series will be overseeing the contest and had this to say about the introduction of Vert to NASS - “We’re stoked for the UK BMX Vert Series to be working with NASS running three BMX comps in Pro, AM and U13s that will showcase both international and UK riders as they battle it out. Since 2009 the little town of Peynier in the beautiful South of France has annually witnessed a world class BMX event: VANS Kill the Line. After six years, the BMX the trails competition in the pinewoods with the incomparable relaxed atmosphere has gained the reputation of being absolutely unique. When's the last time you saw 100 of the best BMX Pro riders ride a contest? You'll have to be in Tallinn on 18-19 April to see it happen. The live feed will only show the finals so if you're not there in person, you won't be seeing it live. More reason to get to Estonia for a weekend of BMX fun. The pro list is insane. Harry Main signed up, Aaron Ross the boss, Devon Smillie, Ryan Nyquist, etc. Dutch fans won't be seeing a high fufanu from Daniel Wedemeijer in Tallinn as he is injured and won't ride. Roy van Kempen will be there instead. Just read through that list one more time and see who you're predicting to make finals.
