NEW YORK – September, 2006 – The Dew Action Sports Tour, the pro tour of action sports, today announced the winner of the PlayStation® Trick of the Week Award from the Toyota Challenge. Voting began on Monday, September 11, the day after competitions ended. Fans were able to view video clips and vote online at www.dewactionsportstour.com until Monday, September 18. Fans selected Kevin Robinson as the PlayStation® Trick of the Week winner after he performed a Double Flair following the BMX Vert competition.

This is the second time Robinson has landed the trick. "I’m happy to finally be successful in San Jose,” Robinson said. “Last year I was injured at the Toyota Challenge, and this year I felt I didn’t ride my best during the contest. Now I have a victory coming out of San Jose – my first ever PlayStation® Trick of the Week win!” 

Today we would like to inform you about some changes regarding the German Flatartcrew (FAC) and the Battle in da Club (BidC). First of all, the FAC is no longer an association, it's now an agency. The goal is to promote flatland and help it grow. Therefor the agency is going to organise contests, jams and other events. Effective partnerships and sponsorships will be made. 

On 7 October 2006 a new concrete skatepark will be opened in Vidy, Switzerland. From 11:00am - 12:00am speeches will be held but after that the action cuts loose with BMX and skate demos and an evening concert until 22:00pm at night with a Disco Music DJ. During the day a lot of booths will be set up for more info.

September 17, 2006 - Hoffman Bikes is proud to announce the upcoming release of 'Broke Off'. Produced by Nine to Five Films, 'Broke Off' is being filmed, edited and directed by North Carolina videographer Will Stroud, whose former video credits include The System Video, along with The Allan Cooke Local Exposure Tour Series. Taking its name from the laundry list of injuries incurred by the Hoffman team during filming, 'Broke Off' chronicles the exploits of the Hoffman Bikes international team, including Seth Kimbrough, Ryan Barrett, Sebastian Keep, Will Love, Mat Hoffman, Brad Simms, Anthony Napolitan, Mark Potoczny, Zack Warden, Jeremie Infelise, Jon Taylor, Chris Souter, Billy Kibler and other team riders.

Wow, 6 riders are celebrating their B-day this week. I'm sure you know at least one of them so call 'em up. Get Koji Kraft another sword or some batteries for his night vision goggles, he'll dig that.

Achim Kujawski is putting on the second Verthaus jam in Oberhausen with support from adidas, Red Bull and Eastpak . Last year's edition was a success and all vert riders had a great time. It doesn't happen too often that you can just ride with your friends at an indoor place on a decent ramp (it's a vertical-Red Bull halfpipe).

-Yo dudes I have done tha Warped Tour for 10 years out of 12 that. It has been around, so startin' N January there Is a Warped Tour display  for 6 months of bands & riders/skaters that have been on tha tour. I submitted this picture & sum shin-pads, after tha 6 month display tha R-N-R Hall of fame will run tha display again 25 years later, that's 2031, pretty cool, I know those shin pads will really reek around that year......Ha! Ha!

Last week I did tha Tony Hawk Grand Jam N Calgary, Canada, It Is tha 1st year that tha Slam City Jam Is N Calgary & not Vancouver, so we broke N tha new year with tha Grand Jam! Kent, WA – Since its June release, the Diamondback Accomplice has proven itself to be a nice / positive addition to society. The release of the Accomplice was thought by some to be a little early, but the only thing the $525 bike has been found to be guilty of is providing consumers with more for their money than any other complete on the market. Diamondback has combined designs from the Northwest to Florida to develop the all new Accomplice - equipped with Shadow Conspiracy components. 

We (BMX) have been doing pretty good at the Playstation Trick of the Week competitions that go hand in hand with the Dew Action Sports Tour. It's a way for the riders to make some extra cash and it's up to you to decide who will win the big pot. For this week the BMX nominees include:
