Once again, the Sport of BMX will gather under the Olympic Flame at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California - on Saturday, September 27, for the National BMX Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and dinner. After taking public nominations since last October, five different Hall of Fame committees narrowed the list down to the Final 5, which was voted on by more than 400 specially selected individuals. The final result of this process are the following five Inductees, and a special recognition induction, who make up the Class of 2014:Crazy Freakin' Bikers (CFB) Woodward West 2004 6.25.04 from Hoffman Bikes

National BMX Hall of Fame announces the Final-5 nominees for 2014

The National BMX Hall of Fame has just announced the Final-5 nominees for this year's Hall of Fame voting. After receiving hundreds of public nominations since January, the Hall of Fame committees have narrowed it down to the final five nominees. From here, a group of over 500 people (made up of previous Hall of Famers, BMX historians and Industry vets) will vote to decide on the final Inductees will be. This years' Inductees will be announced on July 1st. While making it this far is a huge acknowledgement in itself, one lucky BMX legend in each of the five categories (Pioneer, Racer, Industry, Freestyle and Woman).
The National BMX Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday evening, September 27th - in front of the Olympic flame, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. The festivities take place following the UCi Supercross World Cup finals,
