The Simple Session has developed into a contest that nobody wants to miss. Making it on the riders list is not an easy task. You need to prove yourself to be added to ride the contest. A lot of first time riders this year. FATBMX is catching up with them. Today we present: 23 years old Christopher Childs from Attleboro, Ma. When did you first hear about the Simple Session?
Chris Childs: Some years back. Never thought I'd actually be making it out there!

Did you have to look on a map to find out where Estonia actually was?
Chris Childs: I had a general idea, but yeah I did, haha.

Now you’re on the riders list, how does that make you feel?

Sometimes the ultra talented riders are good in anything they do. Alessandro Barbero has a signature snowboard at Hostile, wanted to be a Motocross rider, but ended up being a Pro BMX rider. We talked with the Italian about all three sports.

When you were little, what did you want to be later on, a motocross rider, a snowboarder or a BMX professional?
Ale: I always wanted to be a motocross rider. I live in CEVA, Italy

When did you first hear about the Simple Session?
Answer: The first time I heard about Simple Session was... I think around 2008 when Anthony Napolitan and Ronnie Napolitan went. They're from Youngstown and I remember watching a Levi's video of them talking about going there and I remember watching the live feed of the contest on my computer.

Did you have to look on a map to find out where Estonia actually was?
Answer: Probably years back when I first heard of Simple Session I did. But I do know that Simple Session is probably the only reason why I know where Estonia is on a map haha.

Inuk Siegstad: 2011 in my boarding school. My Friend sent me a live stream on Freecaster.tv I think.
