If you’re not familiar the #BIKELIFE movement that’s rapidly growing in cities all around the world, then you better hold on to your hat! There is definitely a movement goin’ on. SE Bikes recently brought BMX legend Todd Lyons and wheelie king Dblocks out to Philadelphia to meet up and ride with the Philly crews. Over 300 local riders showed up for the Philly Rideout including nearly 40 Philadelphia police officers, who heard about the ride through social media. The police presence was definitely a surprise, but rather than shut down the ride, they showed up to embrace it and keep the ride safe. It’s truly a unique experience to see cops on mountain bikes and in cop cars casually riding alongside of 100’s of BMXers doing wheelies and tricks in the streets. No politics, no racial tension, no drama. Just kids on bikes having fun!
The BIKELIFE movement is real. Check it out!
