2021 UCI Pump Track World Champ Eddy Clerte made the journey back to the track where he won those rainbow stripes one year ago to take the number 1 here again today. With Eddy already travelling to Chile, that golden ticket went to the 2nd placed Belgian rider Didi van Tiggel with a third for local rider Renato da Silva in a tight day of racing.
In the Women's category the day belonged to Switzerland's Eloise Donzallaz who took the win today to ensure her place at Santa Fe bike park in Chile on 19 November. Second place went to Slovakia's Kristína NOVÁKOVÁ.
5 weeks and counting till Chile! Lesotho and New Zealand Qualifier coming up along with the LCQ.

As the Red Bull Pump Track World Championship qualifiers continued in Riga and Oklahoma City, Olympians and World Champions, BMXers and Mountain Bikers from around the world put in their bid for a place at the world final. Oklahoma City was the location for the first of 2 qualifier events in the USA. The heat combined with windy conditions would put even the best of riders to the test. Olympic Bronze medallist and 3 x 4-Cross World Champion Jill Kintner would lead the attack in the women’s category. Elite BMX racer Alaina Henderson was not going to let Jill take the win without a fight. The final race came down to the wire with just 9/10’s of second separating them on the line. Jill would grab the win and secure a ticket to the world final for the women but we can expect to see an incredible battle between these two powerhouses again in the world final.
