With the ABA BMX Black Jack National event being such a huge success, and moto and rider count being one of the biggest of the year you can bet there were some major changes in the points for the ABA National #1Title chases. The Black Jack Nationals was a must attend for all the PRO's, riders, manufactures, and teams. The excitement level was high, the talent was deep, and the pressure was unbelievable for everyone. Ryan Guettler has done some gardening in his backyard. In fact, the gardening was done with a nailgun, some sawblades and plenty of wood. Ryan is now the owner of a backyard spine ramp and recently had an opening barbeque with all his friends in Greenville, North Carolina. It's not quite the same as Ryan Nyquist's Unit or Dave Mirra's warehouse down the street but it makes riding so much better if you can just hit it up in your backyard.  Just check the photos of the first session.

The Hangloose crew is organizing a bmx jam at Brussels concrete park (Park des ursulines) on SEP 29TH Next to Central station. In addition to the tight bowl, the banks, the ledges, they will bring the Hangloose box jump, an old school quarter (2m70 high with vert, 2m wide) and maybe a street spine. There will be a best trick contest and some prizes. The event is bmx only and starts at 8:30PM until late.

In efforts to bring awareness and financial support, to the recent injuries, his best friend Stephen Murray sustained, in a bike crash on June 22nd. Cory Nastazio will be hosting a "Ride for Stephen Murray Benefit" at his trials October 6th, 2007. This will be the first televised and media covered event, Cory has done at his new trials in Tehachapi, Ca, near Woodward West.

RIDE FOR STEPHEN MURRAY- OCTOBER 6th, 2007:

This weekend the Bulls Spine Jam took place at europe's biggest bike-business trade show. National and international BMX rider showed spectacular tricks and BMX action. Saturday, 15. september 2007, IFMA Cologne: Nine o´clock on time the first BMX riders from Germany and Europe are doing warm-up runs for the contest at the Braun Spine Ramp, the world´s biggest mobile ramp. Beneath are top-class Pro and Amateur riders such as Phil Aller, Mark Webb and Chris Mahoney from England but also the twelve-years-old local and BULLS teamrider David Theisen from Cologne. 

Sixty is an unusual number. In human terms, turning age 60 is usually symbolic of nearing retirement, and you start getting all sorts of discounts on everything from airline tickets to bus rates. In magazine terms, it's not nearly as symbolic as an issue 50 or even an issue 100, but in this day and age, it generally does mean that the magazine has been going for a fair bit of time, which is certainly the case with Dig. We're not going to have a party, expect praise from the anyone, or tell ourselves that we're awesome. We're just gonna get back to what we've always done and start work on the next magazine.

For now though, we present you with Dig BMX Magazine Issue 60. It's packed with everything listed below and is our fist issue ever on re-cyled paper. Go get it, stay young, and sit tight a few years for issue 100.... 

This year’s last T-Mobile Local Support Challenge will happen on September 22nd in the discipline BMX street. Emmering, the host spot, is happy to invite to its Tretlager Hall near Munich. And the set up of the 4000 square metres should make your hearts beat faster: Wooden trails, a bowl with a hip, many street obstacles like a 5m jumpbox, a quarter with sub box, a curved wallride, a quarter section including spines & more wallrides and the “Monster Box”, a huge quarter-bank-quarter-combination. There’s definitely a lot to shred for each team. 

The United Bike Co. Crew doesn't sit still. They've been touring the USA to film for "Don't matter", and recently went on the Mega Props Euro tour which they've shown on their website quite a bit. I'm sure it's off to Interbike soon.

The "Don't Matter" DVD has come as an extra with some (video) magazines but they're giving out Free DVD's and A2 size posters of their team rider Nathan Williams to anyone (worldwide) who is going to e-mail them through their website.
