UCI SX Series that is to be held next week in Spain. Intense/Phantom/Ontrac sponsored Rider Nic Long was in Desoto as well, looking for some more stellar results. Here is how they finished up:
Danny Caluag had anstellar excellent weekend, as he was in all 5 main events for all races he entered. On Friday, Danny placed 6th in the Elite Men's. In the Pro Cruiser Main event, he was fighting for the lead, but instead of a win, he crashed and finished up 8th. Beaten but not dejected, on Day 2, during the USAC event, Danny came back strong. Danny once again battled for a win, and this time, he didn't wind up on the ground, but up on the podium, with a 2nd place finish in Elite Men. Day 3 saw Danny take a win home in the Pro Cruiser Class and a 4th in AA Pro. Overall a great weekend for Danny.
Intense/Phantom/Ontrac Pro Nic Long has been one of the most consistent Pros on the tour in 2010, but Friday was a day that he wants to soon forget. 2 crashes in the qualifying heats ended his day early. On Saturday, he turned it all around and had the best day of his Pro Career, as he took the win taking the win and the USAC National Title in the Elite Pro Class with the win over Danny. This is a major win for Nic in his early Pro Career. On Sunday, Nic was once again in the main event, this time placing 5th overall in Elite Men. Nic now gets ready for the UCI SX Event, along with David and Arielle, that takes place next Saturday night in Madrid, Spain. You can catch all the action on the live webcast on www.Freecaster.tv
