Four men received nominations to the funded team. Donny Robinson (Napa, Calif.) earned a spot on the team by virtue of his number-one ranking in USA Cycling’s elite men’s power rankings while David Herman (Wheat Ridge, Colo.) and Connor Fields (Henderson, Nev.) qualified based on their spots in the U23 and junior men’s rankings. Corben Sharrah (Tucson, Ariz.) rounds out the men’s squad as a discretionary pick.
The women’s funded team will be comprised of five riders. Brook Crain (Visalia, Calif.), Amanda Geving (Largo, Fla.), Arielle Martin (Spanaway, Wash.), and Alise Post (Saint Cloud, Minn.) were named to the squad based on their results at round one of the Supercross World Cup in Madrid last month, as well as their performances at USA Cycling training camps.
