“The GT Ultrabox rides great,” said Bradford. “The riding style is real smooth and it was easy to get used to. It manuals good and rides perfect. I am really likin’ it and can’t wait to start riding the GT Moto.”
“I am very exited to be on GT,” said Bradford. “I have always seen GT and wanted to be on the team. My first bike ever was a GT Mach one. I have always thought the program was very good and wanted to be a part of it. Now I finally am, and I can’t wait until next year.”
Despite his early success, Bradford hasn’t let all his wins go to his head. “I like to hang out with friends, go to the beach and be a normal kid,” said Bradford. But don’t let that humble attitude fool you. This is a guy who loves to compete.
“There’s nothing like the feeling like when you’re at the World Championships on the gate and can hear everyone yelling,” said Bradford. “It’s a great experience.”
Bradford’s goals for 2006? Nothing too ambitious. Just to win at least 80% of the nationals he competes in; double in Junior Men at the UCI Worlds; teach more clinics; have fun; double at the ABA Grands, NBL Grands and ABA Worlds; win the NAG 5 challenge; and win a race in South Africa (Africa is the only continent he hasn’t won a race on).
Welcome aboard, Joey. Show ‘em how it’s done.
