For the 28th year in a row Geo Stengler managed to pull off that world infomous BMX race in the backjard of the KRUG Brewery in Breitenlesau, Germany. The course is still the same as in the early 80's. A few bumps a few berms and that`s about it. We liked it back in the day and now our kids race it. The famous “ Cool Mc Cool BMX TEAM “ went down with more than 20 guys. Representing the ages from TWO to EIGHTY FOUR ! Even though there was no stunt in sight,

it was still BMX. Roots. A classic happening for all the guys who were into BMX back then and are still into it. Matt Pingel, Stefan Geisler, Zipp, DJ Evil Dave Hoppe and their company sho

wed up. Being a race next to a brewery, the free beer was also a treat. Located in the middle of the “ fränkische Schweiz “ the place couldn`t get any better.

And while the kids raced the wifes decided to create a girl class. Man, that was fun. Pingel being the only one to bring a 24 BMX bike of all of us, the choice had to be 16 inchers for the women. Fun, sexy and crazy it went down. Geisler`s wife even carried her 16er through the finish line. We also brought our custom sidehack, but unfortunately noone else did. So it only came to a show ride.

The “ Frankenmann “ a 72 year old geezer ruled the track riding x handed on a 70`s ten speed road bike. ANYONE who competes got a goodie bag and a certificate. Maybe a trophy. Man it was fun ! If anyone wants to come next year, contact: Geo: 0049 9202 847 Or check: www.breitenlesau.com
