JOHN PURSE SIGNS ON WITH TEAM REDLINE FOR TEMPORARY SPONSORSHIP

While Redline’s reigning No.1 ABA Pro and UCI World Champion Bubba Harris recoups from a fractured shoulder, Redline has taken the opportunity to help out and support one of the guys who helped bring Redline to the top rung of the BMX ladder – past National Champion John Purse. Purse, who was planning on racing the upcoming Florida NBL event without a sponsor, was contacted following the news that Bubba would be missing the next 2 rounds, and a short 2-month agreement was quickly reached.

“We are psyched at the thought of having John back in Redline gear,” commented Redline Marketing Director gOrk. “John did a lot for Redline during his tenure here, and we are glad to help him set an incredible benchmark 17th season of racing BMX professionally. With his Grands win in 2004, we believe that John still has it in him to represent Redline well, on and off the track. To us, there couldn’t be any better temp for Bubba than The Jackal.”

John Purse will be riding aboard a Flight Pro XL model Redline at the next four Pro Series events in both NBL and ABA sanctions – hitting Florida, DeSoto, TX., Prunedale, CA and Perris, CA.

As for Bubba, depending on how quickly he mends, he plans on returning to the track for the DeSoto race, and is looking forward to once again being teammates with Purse.
