Saturday wasn't the best day of racing as I spun big time on the gate in the main and ended up 8th. Sunday was the better of the two days as I came out on top for the over all win in the main on Second day.
You’re on the Redline team. How long have you been part of that crew?
Trent Woodcock: I've been on Redline pretty much since the day I won the worlds in Paris in 2005, ever since then Gork has been awesome.
What size frame do you use, what’s your gearing, crank size and what clips are you using?
Trent Woodcock: Custom size Redline built for my size... 180 shimano DXR 44 - 16 shimano DX
You’ve collected quite a few titles over there. Do you ever think about moving to the USA to race full time? Trent Woodcock: Yeah I have every day, ever since the build up to the world's last year when we stayed at Dale Holmes house, there's just no other place to be for bmx other than to be racing in the USA. It's the place to be.

The MX Supercross season is in full swing. Who is your favourite MX rider there?
Trent Woodcock: Bubba Stewart
Do you see any similarities between BMX and motocross?
Trent Woodcock: No not really it's a lot easier as they don't have to generate their own power. But I'll give it to them it's pretty sick!
What do you do to overcome the fear of jumping a big section for the first time?
Trent Woodcock: Chuck my helmet on, do it up and pin it!
Who do you think will be able to score some good UCI points this year for New Zealand so you can send the maximum number of riders to London in 2012?
Trent Woodcock: Our strongest rider out of NZ the man himself Marc Willers!
Is London where you’re focusing on at this point or do you have your mind set on other races first?
Trent Woodcock: Yes London is the big picture. In order to get there, there is a lot of other big races to qualify at before you reach London.
