A clear indicator that the cold is receding and the evenings are getting brighter is the start of the UCI racing season and what better way to kick things off than with some BMX Supercross. LIVE and direct on April 9th from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, the world’s best BMX athletes will be out in force for the first of five rounds of the 2011 UCI BMX Supercross. Over 100 Elite Men plus 38 Elite Women from 20 countries will line up for the first major confrontation of the season. The Supercross series provides an added dimension for BMX specialists this year as it allows them to gain qualification points for the 2012 London Olympic Games, so you know that riders will deparate to stamp an early authority on the season and secure those vital points.
