
Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport 2 will broadcast the final 2011 BMX event delayed live for the Euro BMX fans and NOS Studio Sport is taking the feed live to use in Sports news magazines in the Netherlands only.
During this fourth stop in California, home of BMX, the overall winners of this year’s Elite men and Elite women in the BMX SX World Cup will be decided. Moreover, crucial qualification points are up for grabs for National Olympic qualification rankings.
The California Supercross event will be held at the United States Olympic Committee Training Centre in Chula Vista. The track is a challenging, spiced up replica of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games track and is a favorite amongst the world’s best Elite riders.
This World Cup Series, sponsored by Swatch, is the leading international BMX event series preparing the world’s best BMX riders for next year’s London Games. This year’s series consisted of five events held in three different continents.
