Friday practice on the track in Klatovy didn’t go very smooth. I still felt really tired after travelling a lot and having a jetlag. About the track, what can I say? It’s never been a nice track to ride, but what a big different after riding the Supercross in Chula Vista…
The weather forecast didn’t look good for round 3 on Saturday. When we wake up it already rained a lot. Finally the organisation and the riders decided to cancel the race, because it was too dangerous to ride a muddy track like this.
Because the race was cancelled on Saturday, we had to do 2 races on Sunday. I woke up at 05:30, because practice started at 07:30am. It was really cold this early, but it didn’t rain. The track was still really soft and slippery, but a lot better than the day before.

After a 1hour break, we all had to get ready for the second race in the afternoon (EC round 4). I was still tired like everybody else I think, because the morning race (round 3) was so tough already! But it’s the same for everybody, so let’s go again. The track dried up a little, but still tough to ride. I won each lap including the final… My body felt so tired, but I didn’t give up and got a great start in the final. Winning after a tough day like this, was a great feeling and also collected some Olympic points for my country.
