I had an awesome action packed couple of days in Vegas over the weekend. The ABA National rounds & Redline Cup were held in Boulder City, the dirt jump finals of the Dew Tour were on and I was a tourist checking out the Hoover Dam, America’s largest dam. I stayed in the States after the last World Cup to compete in 7 ABA BMX National Series rounds to collect my world ranking points. It felt quite strange to be
back on the small hill for an ABA weekend. I had been to the Boulder City track a few years ago and loved it.
Brooke Crain and myself were the only girls in racing to jump the guys pro section giving the photographers and crowd just what they wanted to see :)

Day one of racing
Dominique Daniels and myself battled for the lead in the first straight, I took the hole shot and won day 1 with Dom in 2nd and
Brooke Crain in 3rd. After racing a group of us went down to the Las Vegas strip to watch the dirt jump finals of the Dew Tour. It was awesome to see how crazy the level of all action sports are progressing. It was great to see my UNIT Clothing team mate
Kyle Baldock win the event and I bumped into "Nitro Circuses"
Travis Pastrana and "Wheelz" …(first guy in a wheelchair to do a double backflip).

Sunday morning 6am starts at ABA races I will never get used to! It was a slow start to day 2 of racing but I managed to progress through into the final where I had a great start and led all the way to the line with
Brooke Crain for 2nd place and
Dom Daniels taking 3rd.
Before heading back to California we stopped in at the Hoover Dam…think this was more scary than racing SX, I could never bungie or base jump.
Rest time…a couple of days off and I'm off to Florida for the next 3 rounds of the ABA series and my 21st birthday :)
