was a no brainer. From the very beginning the rider support has been amazing and they have given me everything I need to achieve my goals. All I need to do is perform. With a top of the line Speedco frame, Sinz Elite components and THE gear, the sky is the limit for my future here with VSI.”
VSI veteran Danny Caluag also joined Speedco Bicycles. Danny has been associated with VSI for a long time and we are extremely glad to have him back on the team. While Danny is used to riding an Intense he will be making his debut in Oldsmar on a 2012 Speedco frame. Danny a former National #1 AA Pro and 3x National #1 Pro cruiser title winner. He is no stranger to the podium, so look out for him making his way back to the top in 2012. Danny stated: “I am glad to be back on the VSI team. They have always been like a family to me. Through thick and thin they have always been there and supported me whenever I need it”.
Rounding up the Speedco Factory team will be the addition of Girl Pro/ Elite Women rider Caroline Buchanan. We are extremely excited to have Caroline be part of the Speedco Factory team for 2012. Caroline is a very talented rider and has to be one of the most enthusiastic and approachable people in BMX. A former 2x mountain bike national champion and BMX Australia Olympic hopeful will be rocking Speedco colors at all USABMX events.
“I am very excited about the group of individuals we have riding for us this year. I have known both Kory and Danny for years and Caroline has always been one of the most talented women riders out there, so I am extremely excited to get the chance to work with her this year” stated Brian Schrimpf, VSI's Marketing Manager.
“We are thrilled to have such a solid Elite team for the 2012 racing season. Kory has already put down some solid performances in his first year racing AA Pro and we expect another great season from him in 2012. Danny is flat out an amazing athlete, with a proven track record of success. We are thrilled to have him back on the team. Caroline is fast and will undoubtedly get some wins. The talent that she has on a bike is incredible and we are lucky to have someone like her racing for Speedco”, stated Gregorio De Haro, VSI's COO.
In addition Marc Willers will continue racing Speedco frames on his quest to not only maintain the USA BMX National #1 AA Pro title, but to fulfill his dream of achieving the Olympic gold this summer in London.
