New BMX Track being built at the Mellowpark in Berlin. Ready for Red Bull R.Evolution?

The Mellowpark in Berlin is an amazing place. It has held many events but then all of a sudden they needed to move. That move has been made and the new place is looking better and better. Missing was a BMX track so a concept was worked on to get something good going. Together with Red Bull the R.Evolution BMX race was created. The race will be held on August 24th at the Mellowpark and the BMX track is being created as we speak. The top pro BMX racers, along with some Freestyle riders with BMX skills, will get together on the giant starting hill

for an event that is brand new. For the first time you can win some bonus money by jumping during the race. And the track will have many jumps available. After the start not too much pedalling will take place. It will be jumping through the sets and pumping the take-offs and landings. The last jump will be a kicker so even if you did become d

ead last in the race, you still have the chance to win some cash by bringing on your best jumping trick.

The event is supposed to be a fun one for everyone involved and the Mellowpark will get to keep the BMX track which will be modified to a full on track afterwards that everyone can ride. Everybody wins!?
