“Jarrett has been away from the race scene for nearly five months recovering from a major shoulder injury. The “Jet” is not only healed but he’s probably in the best shape of his life right now. We look forward to supporting his goals to make the BMX Olympic team in 2008,” added Hickman.
“I’m excited to be working with these guys again,” says Jarrett. “I know I will have the best support and I’m really stoked to be riding custom American made frames and forks this year,” he added. Jarrett is currently working with his personal coach along with the help of USA Cycling’s BMX coaching staff and plans to return to action at the end of February which is round 3 & 4 of the UCI Continental series in Boulder City, Nevada.
Jarrett will be racing the new Avent TR7 bike, and plans to chase UCI points in his quest to make the US Olympic BMX team in 2008. Look for all the Avent Bombshell riders racing the new American made and designed TR7 BMX frame at a race near you.
