Do you have a team mechanic who works on your bike?Mattia: Yes, my team has a mechanic who checks our bikes every week. But I always have the last look on the bike before I ride it.
What part of the bike do you like the most?Mattia: The rear hub, nothing beat the sound that the Chris King makes.
How long did it take you to get used to your new bike?Mattia: I'm really sensibile on this point, I take two weeks or more. But this new FreeAgent fits me perfectly.
What’s the trickest/coolest part of your bike?Mattia: For sure the frame, the bike is nothing without a cool frame.
Do you ever change gears any longer?Answer: Just during the winter to increase to power. Than when the season starts, I never change gear.
What part do you replace most often during the season?Answer: Chain, when you break one, it is one of the worst sensations ever.
Thanks to: Mom and Dad for always being behind me, absolutely my team that is trying to do as much as they can to give me the possibility to compete on a high level; and of course my sponsors.
