The sun had come out for Max Nagl to grab a huge holeshot. We want to know what he has been eating over the winter because the German KTM rider has been winning a lot in the pre-GP season. He also won the first moto in Gemert in front of factory Suzuki's Steve Ramon and De Reuver. Mr. Smooth Criminal Marc de Reuver thought it was pay-back time in heat 2 and won that one (and the overall). Factory Kawasaki rider Tanel Leok got second in heat two with Nagl in third which lead to a De Reuver - Nagl - Leok podium in the MX1 class. Josh Coppins did not impress. He has 2 weeks left to get ready for the Grand Prix races. He is a title favorite but a fourth and a DNF don't look too good in his books.
Overall results MX1:

You should know that I'm hating life at the moment. I spent 2 hours on this article explaining who did what, checked in with the lap charts, got the photos in place, added spaces and lines in the results, and then right before uploading the whole story disappeared because I hit the wrong button. It's almost midnight and I'm ready to call it a day. I'll add some more photos and the MX2 results and will tell you that Tyla Rattray (KTM) rode strong as did Erik Eggens. Let's hope that the Dutchman (Eggy) stays healthy during the GP season because he can end up on the podium several times. Holland can use a few podiums. The #80 won in Gemert but Rattray had a good training session and left Gemert with confidence. Grandpa George Strik finished third overall. Not bad considering he's got a tough 9-5 job during the week. Markus Schiffer won heat one but DNF'd in moto two. It wasn't meant to be for the German.

First Grand Prix of the season will take place in Valkenswaard, The Netherlands in 2 weeks' time. You can expect FATBMX to be there for all BMX-ers who like a bit of motocross too.
Damn it's late, I'm calling it quits before this report disappears too. Hope you enjoy the effort. You probably don't give a shit.
