With over $125,000 in prize money on the line, the 36th running of The Grands, this Thanksgiving weekend, makes it the Richest Payout ever handed out in BMX Racing. USA BMX has just upped the ante' for the Pro classes at this years' 36th annual USA BMX Grand National - doubling the regular season payout.
Based on the number of Pros signed up, the total purse for AA-pros will likely be $14,000, while the Women pros will most likely be racing for their share of a $4k purse. With the maximum number of riders (36 or more for AA, and 26 or more for Women Pro), they could compete for as much as $20,000 and $8,000. See USA BMX.com for more details and payouts.

NAG 5 Challenge
Even the Ams are earning some prize money this year, thanks to the all new NAG-5 structure. The prizes of the past will officially go away, and the NAG-5 Challenge competitors this year will be racing for some hard, cold greenbacks instead of gift cards and stereo equipment.
On Saturday night, USA BMX is putting up a $5,000 purse: $2,500 for the boys, $2,500 for the girls.
In all, USA BMX will be awarding more than $125,000 over the 4-day event - with the majority of the prize money being decided on Saturday night, during the Pro Championship Finals.
