Straight from training camp in the USA we received this message from Pro BMX racer Raymon van der Biezen: "I’m very happy to have Specialized on board as my new partner for SPD shoes. They not only have the lightest, stiffest shoe on the market, they are well known for high quality products. At the moment I’m testing the 2013 S-Works MTB shoe, this shoe feels comfy but also really tight! These facts are important to my performance. It’s a real honour to work with such a big company, I’m looking forward to promote their shoes!"
At the same time Raymon left some nice words for long time SPD shoe supplier Shimano: "I would like to use this moment to say thank you Shimano for helping me out with the bike and shoe products by sponsoring the Dutch National Team all these years!"
And back to the training schedule it was for Mr. Van der Biezen.
