The World Cycling Centre (WCC) is inviting applications from coaches for an exciting andunique professional development opportunity. For 2014 the WCC is offering 3-month internships for selected coaches to work alongside the resident coaches and athletes at the centre in Aigle, Switzerland. The internships will include practical experience in athlete preparation, strength and conditioning and international racing in a high performance environment. Candidates should currently be coaching at a high level in their own countries and it is anticipated that candidates will be working with their National squads / International athletes.
A return flight to Switzerland, accommodation, meals, and health insurance will be provided to the successful applicants.
This opportunity is open to coaches from all countries although a working knowledge of English will be essential as most training sessions will be conducted in this language. The dates for applications for the internships are listed below. Applications should
be made at least 6 weeks before to allow for visa regulations.
