The top-two elite women in the USA Cycling BMX Rankings – Kim Hayashi (Chandler, Ariz.) and Krystal Hime (San Antonio, Texas) also received automatic nominations, as did Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash.) based on her win at the NBL Woodbridge National.
Joey Bradford (Monterey, Calif.) and Amanda Geving (Largo, Fla.) received the two available junior slots as the top-ranked riders in the junior men’s and women’s USA Cycling BMX Rankings respectively. Geving and Bradford have been dominant in the junior events at UCI Continental Calendar events all season. Geving won all nine races this season, while Bradford won eight, missing one due to injury.
