Getting a number one title in the USA means you'll have to travel a lot to several nationals to gain points. The last year of the year in Oklahoma is always the big one. Sam Willoughby (AUS) arrived in Tulsa as the leader of the series but a crash in the semi wasn't what he had planned for the weekend.This left the door open for Maris Strombergs (LAT) to grab the title. But he had to do well. Friday was a write off for the FreeAgent rider but he turned it around on Saturday and won the class and the 2014 USABMX Pro title.
Alise Post had a rough start of the season but fought back hard to grip the number one plate in the Pro Girls class. Veteran Javier Colombo (BRA) fought all season with the likes of Matt Pohlkamp and Cristian Becerine (ARG) for the wins and in the end he had collected most points of all.
