The NBL now employs a growing number of active riders and this adds more depth to the knowledge and experience of the organization. "This will greatly improve our customer service levels and his enthusiasm will bring a new level of energy to the NBL team" said Kevin O'Brien, NBL's Marketing Director.
Most recently Justin was the track director at Tampa BMX in FL, where he created and implemented programs that brought 300 new members to the track last year. “As an advocate of local tracks and grass roots programs, I am excited to be in a position that will allow me to provide support for NBL’s continued growth across the country” said Travis.

The National BMX League is proud to announce the hiring of Justin Travis to its Field Staff Department. Justin brings with him a background in marketing and customer service and has been involved with the sport of BMX since 1993. Currently racing on the pro series and having actively raced all of the past 14 years, he has a long resume of establishing and promoting BMX at numerous NBL tracks across the country. Having served on two separate town committees to establish a new tracks and parks trails, he has also spent six busy summers touring the country teaching racing camps 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
