Have you ever tried frames made of an other material than aluminium?
Steven Cisar: I have only ridden aluminum BMX frames.
What's the length of the top tube?
Steven Cisar: 21.5 Does it take you long to get used to a new/different bike?
Steven Cisar: No, it usually does not. I have a setting I stick with and only make minor tweaks to it so hopping on a new bike is not an issue and I like to change my bikes every 4 months.
Do you think you could ride brakeless?
Steven Cisar: I can ride brakeless and did at the trails for a solid year when I was coming back to racing. Helped develop some confidence. Do you change your gearing much?
Steven Cisar: I have two race gear set ups I like to switch it up with.
Could you jump all the big stuff if you were riding flat pedals?
Steven Cisar: For sure, I love riding flats and anytime I'm at the trails with my feet floating above the pedals is a good time.
You're using a different wheel set-up. What's the advantage with the Bombshells?
Steven Cisar: Bombshell produces one solid carbon rim. Makes my bike more solid and stiff which transfers it to the power I put out. In transitions of jumps there is no flex in the wheel so I feel I get every bit of pump out of my bike which generates more overall track speed. I use the Bombshell "straight pull" hubs which makes them even stiffer when laced properly by Bombshell.
Do you work with your sponsors in making a bike set-up that will look good in the end?
Steven Cisar: I do work with all my sponsors on the look of my bike. I choose a color, and if we agree it gets powder coated then I let Stasis know the color to have a graphic kit go with it.
