Why did you pick the HARO Clutch to ride for the 2015 season?
Tyler: I rode this type of frame last year and really like how it rides. It has the race geometry I like, so I can set it up how I want it.
Does it feel good to get to pick the parts you want to ride to make your bike the best possible?
Tyler: Yes, That is another great bonus of riding for Dans Comp! Dans lets the team pick what they would like to ride. So we can build our race bikes to the best possible setup we want.
Tyler: I have wanted to do an all white bike for a while now and it worked out this time around with all the parts I wanted to use. There are a few parts I didn't want white as well, so this is how it turned out.
You don't want a mud race coming up do you?
Tyler: Ha Ha! A little mud won't hurt anything besides the hotel room towels :)
What tire pressure do you run in the front and in the rear tire?
Tyler: I run 100PSI in the front and rear tires all the time.
Tyler: Hmmm... On this bike, I switched a few things up! I am really liking my new Handle bar/ Stem setup. I haven't used a different model stem since 2010. Between that and these new wheels with brand new Maxxis tires on them never felt so smooth.
How long did it take you to get used to your new carbon bike?
Tyler: Not too long, only a day or two. I really like the response of the carbon out of the gate and turns.
Tyler: I would have to say my Sponsor logos I always add to my bike. Without them I wouldn't be able to do what I do.
What part do you replace most often during the season?
Tyler: I really like the way brand new tires feel, so I always put new Maxxis tires on. I also put new pedals and chains on every few months.
