Are you happy to be back on GT?
Luke: Yes, it's great to be back. The same crew has taken over in Australia, so the conversion was easy.
How does the new ride feel?
Luke: Perfect. The geometry really suits my style. It has a great balance point and good acceleration being carbon.
How long did it take you to get used to your new bike?
Luke: I felt comfortable the first ride I had on it. Couple of tweaks to dial it in 100%.
What’s the trickest/coolest part of your bike?
Luke: I think the rear drop outs. Being able to drop your rear wheel out without having to adjust your chain is so much easier.
How much different is carbon compared to aluminium?
Luke: Not a lot. It's more responsive out of the gate and driving out of turns.
What part do you replace most often during the season?
Luke: Chains, Tyres and grips are the usual replacements
Any specific reason for the orange parts other than looks?
Luke: I thought it would be different but work whelk with the matt carbon frame.
It looks clean, while keeping the stealth feel.
Thanks to: GT/Fox, Box, all the guys at Monza imports, Lusty and Blackman bicycles. Most of all my parents for setting my life up.
