final which he won in a time of 28.713 seconds, but in tomorrow's race as well. He has won two years in a row and by setting the fastest time on Saturday he showed the competition that he is ready to take on everybody else. American Connor Fields finised second while Twan van Gendt (NED) set the third fastest time in the Men category.UCI Elite World champion Mariana Pajon (COL) finished a full lap in 31.975, the only girl to hit a time under 32 seconds. Last year's World Cup winner Caroline Buchanan (AUS) was very close and needed 32.098 seconds to complete a lap on the supercross track followed by Felicia Stancil from the United States of America.
The non qualified riders battled is out in the qualifying races for 48 remaining spots in the men category and 24 in the girl division. With over 200 racers signing up these three qualifying laps are becoming more and more spectacular as no one wants to go home early.
Niek Kimmann (NED), Gonzalo Molina (ARG) and Amidou Mir (FRA) were the only three riders to win all three qualifying motos and showed that they are ready for Sunday's race. Alise Post (USA) and Yaroslava Bondarenko (RUS) managed to do the same and will meet up with the top 8 ranked riders and the 22 best girls of Saturday to race for the first World Cup points of 2015.
