March 2005: Argentina prepares for BMX Olympics

With BMX racing becoming an Olympic sport several countries are already preparing for the big day in 2008. Argentina has formed a team of talented riders in hopes of winning some gold, silver or bronze. The Argentine nationals team are supported by the Argentine National Sport Secretary, that will be supporting the BMX ARGENTINE TEAM for the China Olympic Games. ARGENTINE NATIONAL TEAM:

Manuel Lopez - Elite Men (ONE World Team)

Fedrico Polo - Elite Men (Maxxis Arg Team) Sebastian Ilarri - Elite Men Gabriela Diaz - Elite Woman Ana Heredia - Elite Woman Luciano Sanchez - Junior Men (Carames Team) Ramiro Marino - Junior Men (Dans Comp.USA) Maria Dutto - Junior Woman Maria Ruarte - Junior Woman (Dans Comp USA) Looks like Cristian Becerine has not been selected. The USA based rider will be concentrating on winning some titles (and money) in the USA instead of moving back to Argentina to battle for a gold medal with the National team.
