What was your best race result in 2015?
Caroline Buchanan: I think under the crazy weather conditions of the BMX world Championships in Zolder Belgium and racing off the small 5m ramp. To place 2nd and get a silver medal at the World Championships is my best result of 2015.
Who do you think kicked ass in the Elite Men class this year?
Caroline Buchanan: Well without a doubt it was the Niek Kimmann. He bursted onto the elite scene with a bang winning multiple World Cups and the World Championships in Elite off the back of winning the Junior World Title last year. Who impressed you most in the Elite Women class?
Caroline Buchanan: Stefany Hernandez has been a quiet consistent achiever over the past 3 years but really made her mark with consistent podiums and an amazing pass by myself and Alise post in the 2nd corner of the World Championships to go from 3rd position to 1st and claim the World Title.

What track did you like most in 2015?
Caroline Buchanan: I loved racing Manchester I think it was the only stop on the entire World Cup circuit that didn't have crazy bad weather conditions. Who did the best move on the track this year that you remember?
Caroline Buchanan: I think it would have to be Hernandez move from 3rd to 1st in the Elite Womens main event to claim the World Cup going around the outside of myself then under Alise post in the wet.
What race had the best race conditions?
Caroline Buchanan: Manchester was flawless as it was inside but also Argentina we have some great sunny weather.
Where was the weather horrible to race in?
Caroline Buchanan: I hated racing in the 50kph winds at the Sweden World Cup round this year. I have never in my life felt so out of control on my bike. The show went on and I ended up crashing into Brooke Crain in the semi final after she had been blown by the wind and crashed in front of me taking us both out.Worst crash of 2015?
Answer: Breaking my chain at the Salt Lake USA BMX National. I was about 5 pedal strokes out of the gate at the bottom of the start hill when my chain snapped throwing me over the bars to the concrete and into the first jump lip flat on my face and stomach. 100 to 0 real quick…..
Who had the best looking bike of 2015?
Caroline Buchanan: ….. Me :) I have never really had a flashy bike but I have to say my fluro Green DK Professional frame with anodized black and green Box Components parts looked mint and very Aussie Aussie Aussie for the World Championships.Best hotel/place you stayed at in 2015?
Caroline Buchanan: In Rockhill California with @barryNobles95 and his parents. I loved being able to have family time and business time combined at that race.
Worst travel experience this season?
Caroline Buchanan: Loosing my bags coming through Rome after the World Championships on my way to Santorini Greece with Barry Nobles. The bag showed up 4 days later and we had to collect it from the airport on a scooter. Best person you hung out with in 2015?
Caroline Buchanan: I really enjoyed training with USA Olympian Brooke Crain during training sessions at the Chula Vista OTC this year. It's nice to be able to have friends on the circuit that share the same values and you can still be competitors on the track but friends off. And not to mention my amazing little new niece Emily Buchanan who was born in March.
Plans for 2016?
Caroline Buchanan: Rio 2016 is my major goal for the year. I want to win a medal and ideallly win gold. I will be competing in the World Cup series prior to the Olympics as well as the Australian BMX national Championships, Oceanias, USA BMX SX rounds and the 4cross Mountain Bike World Championships.
