Robert Tombow and his crew are busy grooming the track for a January start and the revamped track will be the proud host of the 2008 NBL Pacific Nationals, April 4-6. The National is part of the NBL War Of The Stars Pro Series and promises to be the ‘Grand’ opening for NBL in SoCal.

NBL back in Southern California with the re-opening of Whittier Narrows BMX

The National Bicycle League (NBL) is proud to announce the re-opening of the Whittier Narrows BMX Track in South El Monte, California. As part of an ongoing effort to promote NBL racing in the west, the new Southern California track will be a welcome addition to the NBL Golden State program and will be running local races and practices in early January. The track is located inside the Whittier Narrows Recreation area and easily accessible to every county in the Los Angeles area. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
